More heavenly than warm fog,
the brown humus ground around.
The twig truffle smell.

Wild mushrooms!

Wild stories to tell.
Scarlet coats with small girls inside.
Russian grandmother,
headscarf'd on this nature ride.

The rain on the leaves sound.
Distant dogs.
Orange lichen logs.
Wild mushrooms on the ground.
Dark bride kisses
and scarlet togs.
Earth and heaven in old day fog.
