The Aadvark And Banana
The aadvark and banana know
the meaning of the city's glow.
The aadvark stares as sunset falls
at orange lights in shopping malls.
The mere banana tries to think
while all alone beside the sink
and as the rays of sunset warm
his yellow skin, he feels forlorn.
