About this painting
My primary inspiration for this was to paint a portrait because I hadn't done so in a while. I decided to paint two paintings; a sleeper with a blue and white cloudscape, and second with the colouration reversed.

The sleeper lies beneath clouds that form a shore and lead to a distant landscape. The lighthouse indicates solitude for only the dreamer exists when dreaming.
