About this painting
Part three of The Swift Trilogy of artworks that begins with Don't Think I Could Feel Love Any More, and moves on to The High Flying Swift. The three works deal with a relationship, beginning with hopelessness, then observing a decayed landscape from afar, then here ends on a positive note, observing a landscape of many couples, broken, and unbroken.

The door opens to reveal a hopeful blue sky, as the eternal rock of Sisyphus is rolled to the right in its ever-cycle.

Technical details
Works in this trilogy are tone paintings, combining painting and music into one artwork, and this was Mark's first work to have music composed specifically for it.
