About this painting

A poem painting in ink, this is one of four images that make up this poem.

In a fusion of words and images, I decided to create a visual poem, curling the words for emotional effect and, on the fourth panel, decided to push this form into new territory, branching the words to create a non-linear poem, a poem that can only exist as part of an image.

...And heal my sore sad limbs (and float ever gently away) to give and die for her into dreams' gentle breast instead.
