On Acceptance

If you can accept the pointlessness of life then, perhaps unexpectedly, great joy appears. Joy from acceptance, caused by your great and rare gift to cope with the unfortunate truth of your short, meaningless, unremarkable and certainly forgettable existence. You can't change or achieve anything, fundamentally. Whether your life is pre-set or not, any action has the same limits on the ability to change the universe, a life appears and sculpts reality to the same degree as any atom, or cell, or star, planet, plant, animal or human. One thing we can achieve is to cope with existence and remain happy or contented, to master the domain of our thoughts and feelings for all-time, the time of our existence.
