About this event
One of a series of experimental art performance nights at music venue Mash Guru, curated and organised by Sabine Kussmaul and Mark Sheeky. The theme of the evening was Encounter.

The night opened with a slow motion silent re-enactment of Brief Encounter, with Deborah Edgeley and myself dressed and painted in grey to simulate a black and white film.

Acts also included Becca Smith and Jacki Clark. Sabine Kussmaul played a video of curious horses in a field, and other nature videos that evoked "Slow TV". Neil Puttick told and partly dramatised a surreal story about a clown bar. Simon Oliver showed a music video.
