About this event
One of a series of experimental art performance nights at music venue Mash Guru, curated and organised by Sabine Kussmaul and Mark Sheeky. The theme of the evening was The World's Wife.
Participants included Deborah Edgeley, reading a poem about Anna Dostoyevskaya, Claire Bassi with a poem in semi-random order about the repetitive nature of housewifery, and Rebecca Smith, who began the night with her alternative life-drawing class. Mark Sheeky read a live improvised poem, based on a randomly selected line from a book, and Michael Chisholm also read a poem, before Sabine, Rebecca and Mark played music together along to a sound loop created by Claire Bassi. |
