About this event
A community album cover creation event for the charity Christmas album Snow Business. Held at Crewe Heritage Centre with help and support from Creative Crewe. The album was put together by Mark Sheeky, assembling a team of local music artists to write and record new Christmas-themed tunes. The album is to be sold on BandCamp, with profits to benefit the Crewe-based charity Looking After The Homeless.
The cover was conceived as a public event, and children were invited to draw or decorate Christmas shapes which were then collaged onto the final canvas at a location of their choice, creating an ultimate work of community Christmas pop-art. Photos by Mike Drew and Deborah Edgeley. |
