The Man Who Couldn't Speak

I solved the riddle of the universe.
I did it yesterday at noon.
I had a perfect egg on perfect toast.
It rained consistently all day.
The news reports were only politics
and I was thinking of the game,
the holograms that come in cereal.
I had paprika on the egg.
Another day for the man who couldn't speak.

I had a trip upon the underground
in metal worms without escape.
The advertisements spoke of Hollywood
and everyone was in a suit.
My ticket had a smiley face on it.
The message said I was asleep.
The screeching noise was hard to understand
until I recognised the sine.
Another day for the man who couldn't speak.

The music system has a temprement.
Sporadic sound is strange indeed.
The LED's are often off and on.
I cannot hear lord Elgar varying.
The sky is flickering too loud today.
I can't predict what can be changed.
I solved the riddle of the universe
between the channels on TV.
Another day for the man who couldn't speak.
