Can You Feel It

Attempt expression but lie.
Then fail because you don't try.
I saw your brilliant mind
was lying open but blind.

An inner vision to see
a paler version before.
No eyes to speak or to hear
and now the truth is unclear.

Can you hear me?
I am here.
Can you sense me
near?
Can you feel me
touch your hair?
Are you even
there?

A simple coma can make
a stronger feeling increase.
Though asleep to the touch
I want to tell you so much.

Within the spectre of thought.
Within the chasm of rest.
Beyond those echoing halls,
is there a voice in those walls?

Can you hear me?
I am here.
Can you sense me
near?
Can you feel me
touch your hair?
Are you even
there?

Adrift in a silent sea.
Like time just passing away.
And getting further from shore
just like our lives were before.

It makes it harder to leave.
Is it unfaithful to go?
But with this triangle curse
I think to wake would be worse.
