as mystery begets itself,
as facts defy the logical
conclusion of events.

The butler witness, dumb and blind.
The lethal blow from close behind.

The doctor fails to try and look.
The candle fire enrobes the wick
but blood still stains the candlestick.
Pursue the truth and dig the pit.
Predict the authors demon mind
and maybe solve the whodunnit.
Who sent Miss Carters skull to grind?
Try hiding envy but unkempt.
Try lidless eyes retiring dent.
