About this painting
The final piece in the Conceptual Art group is a transformation into something different from the others, something musical and evocative.
The image is based on a daguerreotype of Chopin, the most doomed and so most romantic of composers. The series ends in a dance, perhaps a somewhat sad dance, as themes and textures from across the series repeat and reiterate. |
