For two and a half years I produced and presented the arts radio programme, ArtsLab, for community station RedShift Radio. For the first year I played unusual music and interviewed artists. For the second and third series I invited aritsts (or anyone else) to create new audio work for broadcast each week; a ground-breaking and challenging format. A small number of ArtsLab shows can be found on MixCloud.
One of the highlights of ArtsLab was I, Leviathan, a 90-minute experimental audio drama at the end of the second series created by artists and poets like an audio 'exquisite corpse'.
ArtSwarm
I left RedShift to create ArtSwarm in March 2018. ArtSwarm had a similar format to ArtsLab, but developed as a video show for YouTube. Mark Sheeky and Deborah Edgeley produced and presented two series of programmes until the end of 2019. The ArtSwarm video show evolved into a live stage event of experimental performances.
