The Illusion of Myth is an art performance that Mark Sheeky and Sabine Kussmaul developed in collaboration about truth and myth, how elaborate stories form from a fragment of fact.

A storyteller begins behind a translucent screen and over the course of the story, the spectators are asked to peel away layers to reveal the simple truth that seeded the tale, the story-teller, the female figure and light of truth.
