About this event
An Open Mic event held at the Red Cow in Nantwich, organised by Nigel Stonier and Virginia Kettle.

The night opened with Virginia Kettle, followed by Paul Parish solo, who two covers; 'Black and Blue' and 'Ashes to Ashes'. Martin Corlettmoss performed more of his amusing poems, and Egan Stonier performed two of his instrumentals, including his unique interpretation of 'All Along The Watchtower'. Nigel and June Holland rounded off the first half.

Mark Sheeky collaborated with singer, songwriter, and guitarist Paul Parish on two songs, performing both on acoustic guitar and synth; Paul's song 'You'll Be The One', and a first live performance of 'Cat Covid!'. Deborah Edgeley read 'Show Me The Ochre' and 'Carved Buddha Turnip' from her Tolstoy collection.

First time visitor, poet Matt McFadden performed two poems with great élan, followed by singer and guitarist Jim Farmer who sang three slower songs. New poet Sue Goodwin read 'Feet Up', and Nastee Chapel performed three songs; the recently written song 'Free Life', Aurora's 'The Seed', and the John Denver version of 'Two Little Boys', which seemed to be rendered even more moving by the connection to the shunned Rolf Harris.

The evening of typically brilliant performances ended with three sing-along cover songs.
