About this event
A festive version of the Open Mic event held at the Red Cow in Nantwich, organised by Nigel Stonier.

The night opened with Nigel Stonier performing Steve Earl's 'Nothing But A Child', followed by 'Oak and Ash and Thorn' and 'Let's Get Drunk' by evening regulars Nastee Chapel. Egan Stonier followed with two previously performed tunes on electric violin, then June Holland performed two songs: 'Autumn Phenomenon', and 'Family'. The first half was rounded off with three songs by Nigel and Egan Stonier.

Mark Sheeky performed 'Norman Bates' from the forthcoming remaster of The Dusty Mirror, and a first performance of 'The Arm'; both songs light versions full of surrealistic energy. Deborah Edgeley read new poem 'Abacus Overload', followed by two songs by Mark Joseph: 'Into The Fire' and 'The Last Supper'.

Martin Corlettmoss performed two poems, then the finalé began with June Holland and two Christmas classics; three more songs from Nastee Chapel, and another from Nigel Stonier, before a fantastic rendition of 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' by June Holland with Nigel on guitar.
