About this event
A live performance of the songs from the charity Christmas album Christmas Tails. Entry was by donation, with all proceeds from the day going to the RSPCA centre at Stapeley Grange. The day included an open section, with readings from the library writer's group.

Performers included We Are Nomad, John Miller, Mark Sheeky, Paul Parish, Fall in Green, Nastee Chapel, Mick Dick of the Forrest Dick Band, John Lindley, and Maggie Shaw of the Shaw Sisters. Reading poets included the former poet laureate of Cheshire John Lindley, Jane Harland, and local poets Fay, Mike Bell, Norma, Paul, and David. The event was ended in Christmas style with a rendition of Father Christmas by The Kinks.
