About this event

A Fall in Green performance at the pre-fest meet up of Morecambe Poetry Festival 2026. We stayed for the whole festival, one of the country's poetry highlights of the year.

We performed 'Quick Get Your Lows' and 'Empathy With Daisies', plus new work 'From Eye To Hand To Paper'. Most of the show was made up of new works from our latest album Letters From A Square Spoon: 'We Used To Store Sunlight', 'Kingfisher's Handcup', 'Lilac 12 Fold Dodecahedron', 'I Slip Into French Like Tolstoy', and ending with a memorable performance of 'Velvet Gelt' involving a fleet of paper planes made from mock-1920s Reichsmarks thrown by the audience.

The festival was packed with poetry highlights. Each year the festival grown bigger, this the 5th Morecambe Poetry Festival, and our 3rd. We will be back.
