Calming Down

Yellow sky.
Calming down.
Breathing slow like great big bellows.
Rustic and warm.
Rich soft leather.
Smells of heather
and windswept moors.
Watching the others
be together,
walking slowly to their home,
at nearly forty,
still alone.
