World Cup Final

Two forces, face
for the final race.
Red and black, on green and white.
All set out for teams to fight.

Lines in square, and soldiers set.
The whistle blown and dreams are born.
Passes lost and pieces met.
Walls and heads deflect in scorn.

Zig, to dash.
Zag and crash.
Run and dive,
in line, out wide.
Kick, swerve, a golden boot.
Roll, head, flip, shoot!

A goal!
Just one,
and all for fun.
Dances, for now all is won.
Glances, shouts,
and crowds of joy,
as every man becomes a boy.
