About this sculpture
A mask created for the premiere of the Lou Salomé: Empathy With Daisies performance by Fall in Green, which took place in August 2022. Many props were created, including 3 masks, a heart, a felted blackbird, and a daisy.
This mask starts with a plastic and paper core. The hand was moulded initially from wire, covered in Sculptamold and plaster bandages, then chalk gesso, and painted in oils and acrylics. |
