Imagination
What might be, causes angst.
What could be, causes angst.
What might be!
What could be!
The mind can imagine any world,
but is never satisfied with the actual world.
The mind can imagine peace when we are on fire,
and we are always dissatisfied with the fire.
The mind can imagine a heaven when we are happy and at peace,
and we are always dissatisfied with the happiness and the peace.
Can the mind assemble the structures of the actual world?
How would we know?
Perhaps we can test the accuracy of our fantasies,
with our level of satisfaction?
