All The Love

For those who had the ability but not the chance,
you had neither
unspeaking in your coffin body
an adult child, dying
like those who had the ability but not the chance,
you had neither.

Not even a doctor can save you, bless them.

Locked in, in agony,
my old video recorder could express more,
analogue had a smell and special sort of love,
not like these beeping machines
that push air into you.

For those who had the ability but not the chance,
you had neither

When you see God,
ask him for a favour for me, would you.

When you see God,
turn down any offers of reincarnation.
