Bob was living on Market Street
in the middle of a Northern Town
Looking after mum when the sun shone
crying when the rain fell down
Credit was up at the food bank
What is a boy to do?
So he made a piece of toast from cheap white bread
and made up a builder's brew

He always had hope, don't doubt it
he trained as an apprentice chef
so he made a little plan
and he telephoned a man
and the man's name was Geoff
