Boxes boxes on the street
Boxes in my eyes
Boxes made for tin-toy people
Boxes of surprise
Boxes made for children's joy
that children live inside.
Boxes to think out of;
black ones for magic minds.
Boxes for the water.
Boxes for the food.
Boxes holding families
to mould the people cubed.
Boxes for the rows of holes
upon the mountain-side.
Boxes for the cats, and rats.
Boxes for the tide.
Boxes made for entertainment.
Boxes made for tea.
Boxes made for parties
in the cemetery.
