Eternal Love

In my mind she said yes.
In my heart and my spirit.
I feel her love touch me,
and I place myself in it.

I can't give her comfort,
or kiss or caress.
I'm far from her thoughts,
and her life evermore.
Her words told me no
and her eyes even less,
but I'll keep her forever.
In my mind she said yes.
