Crane
On one iron leg.
Erect, tall.
From the tip drips a shadow,
a flicker of black,
like a bat on fire.
The taste of the salt clouds,
high up here, looking down.
From the iron girder.
Just a flicker of black,
like a bat on fire.
Falling.
