Restful Sleep

Soft and languid
like octopus arms,
limp over mashmallow stones.
Resting in feather-soft throws,
and the pillows of bed.
Heavy head.
Drifting thoughts of last night's dreams.
Memories of morning,
and work in the day
soon to be far away,
in new lands
under a gentle delicate gaze;
the amazing ocean of restful sleep.
