I Want Someone

I want someone to miss me
when I'm not there.
Someone to care if I live,
and someone to give to.
Someone who wants me
for who I am.
Someone who makes me feel greater than man.

I want someone to mean good morning,
and share the day's smiles and tears that fall,
someone to be there
in the empty years.
Just a someone,
that's all.
