Dandelion
The hopes and love
in soft grey fronds,
on light winds,
cast from the flower's head
nodding in the spring light
towards a milky dusk
and night.
The seed drifts,
left and right,
on the cool breaths of the day.
Waiting for earthfall,
contact and settle,
home and birth,
of a new explosion,
set with yellow petal shards.
