Fair Trade Poem For Sue

From farms afar
in distant lands,
the farmers work with weathered hands,
to make the goods we know and use.
We buy and pay, to give his share,
to make his day of trading fair.

The slave and master now are one,
underneath a single sun,
and both together work and learn,
to make and buy and sell and earn.
