The Dolphin And The Sky

I wish I could fly,
said the dolphin to sky.
Said the sky "you can't wish,
you silly grey fish!"

"But I breathe in the air!"
said the dolphin, "So there!"
"In that case jump high.
It's like that when you fly."

"But I'd rather have wings
than these little flat fins,
and I'd rather stay dry
in the sun."

and then came a gull
gulping fish until full.
He said "Trust me,
sleeping out in the cold,
and the wind,
and the rain,
is NO fun!"
